A working example. Open for inspection.

See what we would actually change

An AI search audit should end with useful work. Here is how we turn observations into specific page improvements, using our own homepage.

Our own website · demonstration

This is a demonstration, not a client case study. The evidence below records the homepage before this sample was added. It is a content review, not an AI visibility measurement: no assistant responses, rankings, traffic or conversion results were tested.

The short version.

The homepage already explains that we are a full-service agency, links to separate pricing, and distinguishes outside success stories from our own results. The opportunity is to make the service and the work easier to understand before asking someone to book a call.

  2. Show a real deliverable.Put a sample close to the opening
  3. Help each audience find its path.Surface existing audience pages

Finding 01 / Offer clarity

A strong idea needs a specific service.

What we observed

“A new world. Be found in it.”

The supporting paragraph names a full-service agency for local businesses and B2B companies, but the opening does not explicitly name answer engine optimization.

Source: homepage hero, snapshot reviewed November 7, 2026. Visit the current opening ↗

Why we would act: A visitor comparing AEO agencies has to connect the brand language to the service. Clear terminology can help them assess fit. We have not measured whether this copy affects assistant recommendations or inquiries.

Recommended change: Keep the brand headline and make the supporting paragraph explicit about AEO, the audience and implementation.

Current at review

Your customers are asking AI who to choose. 1Alexander is the full-service agency that helps local businesses and B2B companies become easier to find and understand.

Proposed rewrite · not yet applied

Done-for-you answer engine optimization (AEO) for local businesses and B2B companies. We research the questions your buyers ask, improve your pages and business information, and report what changes across AI search.

How to check it: Ask prospective buyers to explain the service after reading the opening. If analytics are introduced later, compare qualified inquiry rates with enough traffic to interpret the result.

Finding 02 / Evidence of the work

Show what the buyer receives.

What we observed

“We research the questions, check the answers, improve content and carry out the agreed work.”

The page describes the process and includes illustrative diagrams. In the reviewed snapshot, it does not link to a full worked audit with evidence and a proposed page edit.

Source: homepage “A team to do the work” section. Visit the current section ↗

Why we would act: Outside success stories explain the market opportunity. A worked example lets a buyer assess our judgment and the quality of the deliverable.

Recommended change: Add a short audit preview immediately after the hero, with a link to a full sample. Include the source, review date, limits, proposed edit and next steps.

Added with this demonstration: This report and the homepage sample section address that gap. Publishing the example does not demonstrate an increase in visibility or sales.

How to check it: Verify that the report is reachable from the homepage on mobile and desktop. Ask prospects whether it explains what the agency would actually do.

Finding 03 / Audience fit

Give two different buyers a clear path.

What we observed

“local businesses and B2B companies”

The opening names both audiences. Dedicated audience pages exist, but the reviewed homepage links to them in the footer rather than alongside the initial offer.

Sources: homepage hero and footer; local business page and B2B page.

Why we would act: A local service owner and a software buyer need different examples. Earlier audience links would let each visitor explore a relevant explanation.

Recommended change: Add two short audience links near the opening, with descriptions of the problems each page covers. Reuse the existing pages before creating more content.

How to check it: Test whether readers can find the page relevant to their business without searching the footer. Do not treat page clicks alone as evidence of business impact.

From findings to forward motion.

01 / Agree

Confirm the facts.

Agree the offer wording and audience priorities with the business owner before changing copy.

02 / Implement

Make the useful edits.

Publish the sample, clarify the service description and bring the audience routes closer to the opening.

03 / Review

Check what changed.

Verify the pages and links, gather buyer feedback and agree a separate measurement plan for AI mentions, citations and qualified inquiries.

What this review cannot establish: which assistants recommend 1Alexander, how often it is cited, what competitors appear for buyer questions, or whether any change causes more leads. Those require dated, repeatable observations and appropriate account data. No visibility score or improvement claim has been invented.
