Meet Jake Parks
1Alexander is led by Jake Parks. Jake was CTO of Scout RFP, where he built the engineering team behind the platform through its acquisition by Workday in 2019. He also founded Arca.ph, a marketplace for vetted remote software engineers.
Today, we're engineers building products, running AI agents and working on projects, including our own work in AI search. We started 1Alexander to bring that same hands-on approach to businesses that want to grow and be easier to find in AI search, without having to become experts themselves.
An engineering background, applied to the work
Building products and running AI agents means working with real constraints, checking what happens and making improvements. We apply that approach to understanding buyer questions, improving content and business information, and explaining the observations.
That background is not secret knowledge of AI rankings. It is a practical approach to implementation, with your business knowledge informing the work.
Honest about what we can observe
We report the work completed and the context of checks: the question, assistant and date, whether the business was mentioned or cited, and what changed or did not. A single answer cannot establish lasting visibility.
No one can guarantee an AI mention, recommendation, lead or sale. We do the work and report honestly rather than treating an assistant's response as a promise.
A name with an agenda
Once, a “1” or an “A” in your name could put you first in the phone book. The directory has changed. The desire to be chosen hasn’t.
We took a little naming strategy, a little Alexander-sized ambition, and brought them to AI search.
